Ep 71:

Rubeus refers to himself as "Rebeus-sama". It is impossible to reflect this in the translation, but one never attaches an honorific to one's own name in Japanese, much less "sama," which signifies great respect for that person. ("sama" is like address someone as "Lord" or "Master" in English.) I bring this up to emphasize that Rubeus is totally self-absorbed and only cares about himself.

By the way... "Rubues" is an old way of saying "Rubul" or jewel.

"kun" is a form of address like "san" and "chan" and "sama". Normally it is used for boys, but in an organization, girls can be addressed with "kun".

There is a saying in Japanese that a weaker person is "ten years too early." What this means is that person would have to train for 10 years to beat his opponent. Sailor Moon takes some liberties with the saying here :)

Ep 72:

Reminder: Children call young women "onee-chan" (lit: big sister), even if they are not related.

Ep 73:

Chibiusa calls Usagi's mom "Ikuko-mama". Ikudo is her first name. She calls Usagi's dad "Kenji-papa" as well. It sounds cuter and less formal than saying "obasan" and "ojisan".
